Look at beautiful photos of birds taken by last year's Great Backyard Bird Count participants and find out more about the Great Backyard Bird Count. This slideshow is ideal for viewing on your home computer or for showing to an audience in your community.

There are 19 slides explaining how to participate and showing examples of what we've learned from the Great Backyard Bird Count. These are followed by 11 optional slides with photos and information about 2007's top-10 most frequently reported birds.

The slides are accompanied by a script. To see the script, choose "normal view" or "outline view" and look in the text box beneath the slide. You can also download the script in Word format.

Note: If you cannot use PowerPoint,  download each of the 30 slides in the presentation as .jpg images. Click on each slide, then open the image to its full size. Right click on the image with your mouse and use the "Save picture as" function.

If you give a public slideshow in your community, please email Pat Leonard at pel27@cornell.edu with the date, time, and location. We will add it to our calendar of events!
