We have 24 Eastern Bluebirds sleeping in one oversized box in our back yard.

My husband and I have been maintaining Eastern Bluebird nestboxes for 25 years. This is a first for us. We have 24 Eastern Bluebirds sleeping in one oversized box in our back yard. We have had in the past 13 birds staying the winter in a regular sized nestbox in our yard. We live 8 miles east of Saratoga Springs NY.

I'm from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and just read about this in our local paper. It's such a great idea. My husband and I are bird nuts and we live at the edge of a conservation area. We will be participating. I'd love to see a facebook group for GBBC.
