On Friday (Feb 6) Audubon VP of Bird Conservation Dr. Stephen Kress joined Martha Stewart on her show. In addition to talking about feeding birds, they discussed the GBBC coming up next weekend. See notes here.

decline in indigo buntings and red-winged blackbirds
I live in anderson, sc. 20 years ago, there were many, many red-winged blackbirds in our area. they have disappeared here. are they becoming extinct? we also have lost our indigo buntings, and probably a good many humming birds.
